I naturally look for the system within a body of content. I find what belongs together and how those parts relate, always seeing where improvement could be made. That way of seeing leads me to organize, standardize, and sometimes redesign the content so its individual pieces begin working as one system. The result is something easier to understand & navigate. This makes it easier to preserve and maintain, because the structure behind it is no longer accidental or invisible. I have never held the professional title of Content Strategist, but content strategy gives a name to the pattern that appears repeatedly in work I have undertaken.

Pages 09 Unofficial Archive.dmg

Pages ’09 included a large collection of beautifully designed templates that gradually became inaccessible as Apple moved on from the software that created them. For individuals and small businesses that built newsletters, stationery, brochures, forms, and other branded materials around those templates, upgrading could mean losing practical access to part of their own visual history. I wanted to preserve the collection while it was still possible to open, review, organize, and package it properly. This archive brings those templates together in one place, with documentation and a presentation designed to make the collection usable again. I hope it helps people recover old work, revisit designs they once depended on, or simply explore a part of Pages that would otherwise be easy to lose.

F&F Lab is an interactive experience in Apple Numbers.

F&F Lab is an instructional design project, but much of the work behind it was content strategy: deciding what the learner needed, how concepts should relate and build on one another, what could be discovered through interaction, and how examples, explanations, visuals, and supporting materials could function as one coherent system. Originally developed as a workshop for Apple Trainers, the project grew into a self-contained learning environment in Numbers, with the subject matter curated and structured to make formulas and functions approachable without reducing their complexity. The result is both a learning experience and an example of how instructional content can be organized, shaped, and maintained as a larger educational system.
